Torddu & Torwen Welsh Mountain Sheep

The Badger Face Welsh Mountain sheep has inhabited the mountains and hillsides of Wales since time immemorial. The breed comes in two distinct varieties; Torddu (white with a black belly) and Torwen (black with a white belly). We have a small flock of both varieties and as the Torwen was put on the Rare Breed Survival Trust watchlist in 2021, we decided to expand our numbers and purchased a young pedigree ram, Idris.

Badger Face Welsh Mountain meat is fine-textured and succulent with an excellent flavour.
