Our native breed, grass-fed beef cattle

A traditional native breed originating from the Galloway region of South-west Scotland. These hardy beasts thrive on their ability to turn rough pastures into some of the highest quality beef around. They look good too!

Just like the Highlands, “Belties” produce lean, succulent meat due to their distinctive double coat that keeps them warm in winter without the need for extra back fat. Slow to mature, their meat is well-marbled with a rich depth of flavour. Also a healthy option.
